Our president is an offshore racer who has won over 70 races, has 6 world titles and 5 US championships to his credit.  He was also inducted into the American Power Boat Association Hall of Fame, a rare honor for a non-American. 

The Canados group is still involved in the race with a 38-foot catamaran which finished 2nd in the 2023 world championship and took first in 2024. This human and technological involvement is reflected in the prevailing state of mind of the shipyard. But beyond that, racing represents an unparalleled test bed for all new technologies. We learn countless lessons on board a boat that exceeds 135 mph / 215 km/h in terms of both hydrodynamics and materials.
